Tellabration! ™ – The International Day of Storytelling

November 18th marks the 2017 celebration of Tellabration!(tm), the international day of storytelling. All around the world, tellers regale audiences of all ages with stories of transformation, change, laughter, hope, fear, conflict and love.

In the Lehigh and Delaware Valleys, two events will happen on Saturday, November 18th. At 2 pm,  members of Patchwork, the Storytelling Guild, will perform stories of Transformation, at The Church of St. Martin of the Fields, 8000 St. Martins Lane at Willow Grove Avenue, in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, PA, 19118. This event is for listeners 15 years old and older and there is a $15 admission charge.

Later that evening, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 East Market Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018, the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild hosts “Remembrance of Stories Past”, an elegant evening of stories and memories. This event begins at 6 pm with a champagne reception. Stories begin at 7 pm. Admission is free. Donations will go to the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild’s Education Committee and to Trinity Episcopal Church. Older teens and adults will enjoy this event.

Celebrate the power of the stories we share, the stories we hear, the stories that help shape who we are and who we hope to be.
