Enjoy Halloween stories for the whole family on Saturday, October 31, from the comfort of your home. Shows: 2 PM & 7 PM EST.

Storytellers Ingrid Bohn, Judy England-McCarthy, Karen Maurer, and Robin Reichert, join host Denise McCormack to spin tales of witches, goblins, ghosties, and more for a little spooky fun on this favorite day of the year: Halloween.

About the Artists:
Denise McCormack
Denise McCormack has been telling professionally for more than a decade, and is deeply committed to sharing the benefits of storytelling in a broad spectrum of applications from education and community, to business, health, and well-being.

Among her many roles in storytelling, McCormack is a board member and active teller for and with the Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild, the NJ state liaison for the National Storytelling Network, president of the Patchwork Storytelling Guild, and an active member of various other local and national organizations wherein storytelling plays an integral role.

Karen Maurer
Karen Maurer has a remarkably storied background as a  library youth services coordinator, writer, and blogger of children’s literature,  She tells tales to all ages, coaches and runs Storytelling Workshops for children and teens, and writes songs for Chiles’ Play, a children’s musical duo with her brother, Dan.

Maurer has engaged audiences with her storytelling for more than two decades, is an advisor to the Patchwork community, a member of the LVSG board , and a presenter and reviewer of books for middle grades and teens for area literature conferences and on her blog, booksnstories.blogspot.com.

Maurer’s specialties and services include professional storyteller, workshop developer and leader, program coordinator, and book reviewer.

Ingrid Bohn
Ingrid Bohn entertains people in story and song and has been active in theater productions for over 30 years. She is an Interactive Theater and Storytelling artist with something for everyone and appears throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Ingrid shares traditional folktales, fairy tales, and literary stories from all over the world and brings to life multifaceted characters.

She encourages role playing and audience participation and is a proud member of the Lehigh Valley and Patchwork Storytelling Guilds.

Judy England-McCarthy

Judy is a natural born storyteller and has been creating & telling stories all of her life.

Robin Reichert

Through the ancient art of storytelling, Robin weaves tales that will open your heart and stir your soul’s wildest imaginings. The Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild started in 1998 to promote the art of storytelling in the Lehigh Valley with numerous showcases, appearances at festivals, story circles, and workshops. Its members often perform at various other venues and events, too, throughout the area and virtually.
