How to Deal with the Pandemic

Here are some ways that the tellers of the LVSG are dealing with the pandemic.

Chris O. revises his new novel, writes music for organ and takes walks.  Walking on uncrowded sidewalks offers mind-clearing views and fodder for stories.

Robin R. completes her book on an historic figure, bakes, hikes and blogs. Check her Facebook feed to read amazing stories, fed to us in daily chunks.

Oni L. has jewelry to make. Active with Keepers of the Culture in the Philly area, she keeps busy telling tales. Every Friday, at 7 pm, Keepers of the Culture presents “Stories in Da House”. Check it out.

Judy E-M. won an online Storytelling Challenge offered by storyteller Rivka Willick. Congratulations, Judy!

Ingrid B. took part in a Virtual Family Storytelling Fest.  Her virtual storytelling events keep her occupied.

Denise M. designs websites for fun and profit! She works on the LVSG Family Series and serves as President of Philadelphia’s Patchwork, A Storytelling Guild.

An 8 year old told me that the virus might be a “miracle”. “We are learning to do new things,” she said.  “We have time to try stuff.”

What new things, skills, strengths are you discovering during this crazy time?  Keep notes because someday this year will make an amazing story.
