Tellabration 2022: TELLABRATE!
Storytelling Concert & Open Mic
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17 @ 7 PM
The Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild presents its Tellabration 2022: Tellabrate, Storytelling Concert & Open Mic, on Thursday, November 17 @ 7 PM EST, an adults only, bring-your-own-beer-or-wine celebration of storytelling and community, at Godfrey Daniels, 7 East Fourth Street, Bethlehem, PA,. Reservations recommended. This program is free and open to the adult public, a meet and greet of sorts with plenty of entertainment, and a pass-the-hat endeavor.
According to Denise McCormack, one of the guild’s organizers and a bonafide storyteller,
This is the guild’s way of re-entering the world and inviting other local and regional talent, friends, and neighbors, to join us for a really great time in a really great place.
And, while we anticipate that many of our extraordinary tellers will take the stage, including Larry Sceurman, Karen Maurer, Ingrid Bohn, Christopher Ochs, and others, we also want to see area balladeers, song writers, guitar-pullers, poets, and spoken word artists share their stuff with us.
Want to have a night of good fun? Get tickets now for Tellabration!, and throw your name in the mix to to tell your own story as you like it. Questions? Contact us.
ABOUT LEHIGH VALLEY STORYTELLING GUILD:
The Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild was founded in 1998 to promote the art of storytelling in the Lehigh Valley and presents numerous showcases, appears at festivals, and conducts story circles and workshops. Its members often perform at various other venues and events throughout the area, in-person and ethereally.
Tellabration was begun by the National Storytelling Network to celebrate the art of storytelling and takes on a variety of forms from swaps and circles to showcases and other performances. Tellabration traditionally takes place on or about the 3rd Saturday in November.
Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild has celebrated Tellabration for many years and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future.
