Lehigh University will hold a workshop entitled “Our (Digital) Humanity: Storytelling, Media Organizing and Social Justice”, April 20 – 22, 2018.  The event will take place on Lehigh University’s main campus and in adjacent South Side Bethlehem.  The workshop is part of Lehigh University’s Mellon Digital Humanities Initiative or MDHI.  This initiative seeks to explore ways for students and staff at Lehigh University to interact, learn from and cooperate with community members of the City of Bethlehem.

LVSG member, Robin Reichert will present a storytelling performance, “A Woman Called Polly”, based on the life of Johanna Polly Heckwelder, during this workshop.  The performance will be followed by a group discussion on how the issues of the past impact and inform the present.  This event will be held on April 21st from 12:15 to 1:15 pm at Maginnes Hall, as part of the Lunch Caucus.
