Travel into Story with Robin Reichert

“Come along with us on the magical journey of a story!” with Robin Reichert’s “Wind, Water, & Magic” as LVSG continues its acclaimed Children’s Storytelling Series. Robin leads children and children-at-heart on a merry adventure to places where magic and wonder are commonplace. Let your imagination soar on Sunday, April 15, 2 PM, at Godfrey Daniels, located at 7 East 4th Street in Bethlehem, PA.
Admission is $5.50. Kids under 5 are FREE. Cops’n’Kids will hand out free books to all children! Pay at the door. The Children’s Storytelling series is sponsored by The Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild, Godfrey Daniels, and Just Born, our favorite candy-maker.

During Robin’s part of the story journey, Robin will take us to China to meet a boy with a magic paintbrush. Climb high in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal to greet a goddess. Travel to the beginning of time to find out why cedar trees are special. As we say goodbye to Winter and hello to Spring, we will take one more trek through the snow in Norway to find out where the North Wind lives.

Robin says, “I still remember what it was like to sit at the knee of a grownup listening to stories. On rainy days stories were my magic carpet to take me anywhere I wanted to go. It is my goal to stir up the imagination of audiences and create a sense of adventure and fun for children and adults alike as we discover the wonders of the natural world together.”

Robin has been a teller of fiction and non-fiction stories professionally throughout PA, NJ, and NY since 1996. Through the ancient art of storytelling, Robin weaves stories that will open your heart and stir up the wonder you once knew. Robin’s stories touch your heart and tap into the great wisdom of nature, but don’t be surprised when she shares a funny tale and acts a bit goofy on stage! Robin believes in the power of storytelling and story listening to heal and change the world.
Robin has authored two books, Feather Gifts for All Ages (author illustrated) and Earth Divine – Adventures of an Everyday Mystic (a collection of personal stories). Her first CD of stories for adults is entitled “Mystic – Stories of Magic and Wonder.” She is a member of LVSG, the NJ Storytelling Network, and the Guest in Your Pulpit Program.
