Afterglow – a Tellabration! event

The Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild and Trinity Episcopal Church present Afterglow, stories that will create warm memories, on Saturday evening, November 17th, at 6:30 pm.  Afterglow is part of Tellabration!, the International Day of Storytelling.  The program will begin with a reception in Trinity Episcopal Church’s dining room.  Stories for mature, thoughtful audiences will be presented by Rob Aptaker, Ingrid Bohn, Judy England McCarthy and Karen Maurer in the sanctuary of the church. Story Circle

On October 10th at 7:30 pm, we will meet for out monthly Story Circle.  It’s October.  So bring your dark night tales and you bravest self.  Share stories of the season and listen to others tell their Fall and Fearful stories. Changing Landscapes: a Writer’s Workshop to Connect Our Lives, Our Stories, Our World

Love Stories – the Art of the One Person Show

Themed programs are a storyteller’s bread and butter.  Schools request stories about kindness, for example.  Churches want stories about faith.  Sometimes, the teller finds stories that fit so well together that she (or he) creates a one person offering that has to find an audience. Surprise! Lehigh Valley Slam

Our friends over at Lehigh Valley Slam offer another fun night of real-life stories told by real people.  The theme this month is Surprise!  Each teller has 5 minutes to tell a true story on that theme.  You’d be surprised (see what I did there?) at what you hear. October 18th, at 8 pm at McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub. 325 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA.  Admission is $10.
