Surprise! Lehigh Valley Slam

Our friends over at Lehigh Valley Slam offer another fun night of real-life stories told by real people.  The theme this month is Surprise!  Each teller has 5 minutes to tell a true story on that theme.  You’d be surprised (see what I did there?) at what you hear.

October 18th, at 8 pm at McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub. 325 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA.  Admission is $10.

Lehigh Valley Story Slam Returns – Whoops!

Join the Lehigh Valley Story Slam team at the McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub and Whisky Bar as they start the Fall season with the theme of “Whoops!”  Bring your best 5 minute TRUE story that embodies that theme, “Whoops!”.  Dennis Boyne explains that the theme is about times when you might have messed up.  We all have those stories.  The fun starts on September 20th at 8 pm.

Admission is $10.

A Story Circle will follow at 7:30 pm.  The workshop AND the Story Circle are FREE.

Story Slam – Here We Go Again!

Lehigh Valley Story Slam starts the New Year right, with the theme of “Here We Go Again”.  Do you have a short TRUE story about things that repeat themselves, themes that recur, favorite amusement park rides, slippery, slidey slopes you just can’t resist?  Bring it to the Lehigh Valley Story Slam at McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub and Whisky Bar in Bethlehem on January 18th.  OR, just come out to listen to others tell of their repeating adventures. The fun begins at 8 pm.  Stories must be no longer than 5 minutes and they must be as true!

Grand Slam – Lehigh Valley Story Slam

The Grand Slam event – where past Story Slam winners compete for the Grand Slam Trophy – will be held at McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub and Whiskey Bar on November 16th.  The stories begin at 8 pm.  The theme for the Grand Slam Story Slam is “FOOD”.  Fitting, yes?

All stories must be true and no longer than 5 minutes.  The tellers for the Grand Slam event have proven their worthiness.  Let’s hear what they say about food.

Lehigh Valley Story Slam – Scared

We’re glad that Lehigh Valley Story Slam is back for another season of storytelling madness.  Come to tell or come to listen, story slams are always a good time.  Held at McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub and Whisky Bar, on Main Street in downtown Bethlehem, each story slam features people telling personal –  true – stories of their lives – all around a theme.  For October, the theme is Scared!
