Take a Journey into Story

Take a Journey Into Story
As LVSG continues its acclaimed Children’s Storytelling Series, join us as master storyteller Denise McCormack leads kids of all ages on a romp into the imagination, Sunday, March 18, 2 PM, at Godfrey Daniels, located at 7 East 4th Street in Bethlehem, PA.

In keeping with the mission of the series, participants will be whisked away on a jaunty journey through stories and song, replete with heroes and villains and derring-do!

“The audience shapes the performance, and this event is for kids of all ages,” says McCormack, “My goal is to give the grown-ups as much fun and inspiration as their children—and plenty to talk about. Sharing good stories is a great way to get everyone involved and talking long after the show is done.”

McCormack, who has been telling professionally for more than a decade, presents programs throughout the tri-state area and is deeply committed to sharing the benefits of storytelling in its ever-broadening spectrum of applications—from education and community to health and well-being—and to people in all walks of life.
Among her many roles in the storytelling world, and apart from being a very active member of the guild and performance artist, McCormack is the NJ state liaison for the National Storytelling Network, co-chair of the NJ Storytelling Festival, president of the Patchwork Storytelling Guild in Philadelphia, and an active member of various other local and national organizations wherein storytelling plays an integral role.

McCormack’s mantra: There is a story for every time and purpose under heaven.
